On the eve of the Oslo Accords' 29th anniversary, the prime minister declared that Israel has abandoned all traces of the accord. He continued, "It has canceled and disregarded most of its provisions, abolished its political, economic, and geographic annexes, refrained from negotiating the final status issues, continued with its unilateral measures, such as the settlements, continued with the financial deductions in violation of the agreement, and stopped the release of the fourth batch of prisoners, which was supposed to release Karim Younis and other prisoners as well as sick prisoners, in violation of the agreement."
According to Shtayyeh, "Israel has broken and even revoked the majority of the provisions of the accords negotiated with us, and this necessitates that we halt and think about this problem.
The Prime Minister emphasized that although Israel claims to desire to strengthen the position of the Palestinian Authority, what Israel actually does is keep working to undermine the Palestinian Authority's  and its institutions. 
We inform Israel that we do not require their support. We desire the protection of our national rights, the cessation of the occupation, and the application of international law. He demanded an end to the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, the aggression against Jerusalem, and the settlement operations. "Our people, and we are with them, will not allow the continuance of aggression against our land, and people," he stated.
