The Prime Minister's Office announces the adoption of projects at a value of USD 5.7 million in Jerusalem funded by the Arab Fund
Ramallah – The Prime Minister's office: The Prime Minister's office announced, on Sunday, that several projects at the value of USD 5.7 million for the benefit of a number of institutions and charities in Jerusalem in the fields of health, culture, development and education, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
Accordingly, here are some of the beneficiary institutions that received the said support: Al Kamandjâti Organization, The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, the Four Homes of Mercy, the Applied Research Institute Jerusalem (ARIJ), the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy (MIFTAH), Jerusalemite Youth Cultural Forum, Hilal Al-Quds Club, Burj Al-luqluq Social Center Society, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture, St. John Eye Hospital, Augusta Victoria Hospital, Al-Makassed Hospital, Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, Faisal Husseini Foundation, Al-Quds University, Al Rajaa Society for Development & Sports, Dar Al-Tifel Al-Arabi Organization, Arab Student Aid International Organization and Filmlab Palestine.
The implemented projects are in various fields such as supporting and developing the infrastructure for institutions of supporting educational and cultural activities and scholarships, in addition to supporting developmental initiatives for youth.
Lastly, the Prime Minister's office extended its appreciation and gratitude to the Arab Fund for its continuous support for Jerusalem City and its institutions, as well as increasing the resilience of the Jerusalemite people in their land. It also confirmed that Jerusalem and all of its institutions have the first priority when it comes to selecting and supporting different developmental projects.
