The Prime Minister: We record for history our condemnation of Bahrain's normalization with Israel
The Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, said: "We record for history our condemnation of the Bahraini normalization with Israel, which followed the condemned Emirati move, which is a flagrant violation of the official and popular Arab position."
The Prime Minister continued: "Paying such a blow to the Arab backbone and joint Arab action is nothing but a service to the colonial state, Israel and its protection, and it is a situation for narrow, short-term accounts with the American administration, above considerations of strategic issues, and at the expense of the aspirations of the Arab and Islamic nation and Palestinian rights, and legitimacy." Shtayyeh explained, "The American administration has also failed to make us surrender through its measures, as it is delusional that these agreements will lead to the end of the issue. While we are open to the world, and to any real international effort to settle and end the occupation, establish the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and resolve the refugee issue in accordance with international resolutions and right."
