The Prime Minister’s Best Wishes and Aspirations for Visionary Avenues of Co-operation at The WBG Directors' Meeting

The Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, Dr. Mohammed Shtayyeh, welcomed today, at his office in Ramallah, the World Bank Country Director for Palestine, Mr. Kanthan Shankar on the occasion of the completion of his official duties in the presence of the Bank's new Director and Representative Stefan Emblad.
His Excellency expressed his appreciation for Shankar's efforts during his years of service as a Director and a Representative of the World Bank in Palestine, particularly enhancing cooperation and facilitating the implementation of development projects in line with the Palestinian government's national priorities.
The Prime Minister greeted the new Country Director Emblad, wishing him all the best in his new duties, stressing the importance of building on what had been achieved and opening up new prospects for joint cooperation.
