Palestinian Prime Minister and Swiss Middle East Envoy; Discussing International Changes, Impact on Palestine, and Filling Current Political Vacuum

The Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, Dr. Mohammed Shtayyeh, welcomed today at his office, in Ramallah, the Swiss envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Division, Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, in the presence of Viktor Vavricka, Swiss Representative to Palestine.
His Excellency discussed with the Swiss envoy the changing international conditions, their impact on Palestine, and the need for an International initiative to fill the current political vacuum given Israel's systematic destruction of every possibility of establishing a Palestinian state through illegal settlement construction, land seizure, and demolition of houses.
At last, he reaffirmed the need to bring pressure to bear on Israel to comply with international law and abide by the reached agreements. Moreover, he affirmed that international law must not be indivisible and be applicable everywhere and to everyone.
