Shtayyeh receives the report of Qabatia investigation Events Committee
The Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh receives, today Sunday in his office in Ramallah, the report of the investigation committee on the death of the citizen Zakarneh from Qabatiya, which was formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Justice Dr. Muhammad Shalaldeh.
The committee’s report concluded that the joint force that reached Qabatiya was responsible for the unbalanced response that caused the unfortunate events.
The President had considered the young Salah Zakarneh a martyr, and ordered that all medical care be provided to the young man who was injured during the security incident until his recovery.
The Prime Minister indicated that the report will be carefully studied to draw lessons from this unfortunate incident, and take legal requirements against the suspects, praising the level of professionalism and transparent work methodology of the committee, and welcoming the arrangements that have also been made between the commander of the National Security Forces, Major Nidal Abu Dukhan and the people of Qabatiya, and contributed to containing Conditions
The Prime Minister thanked the family of the martyr Zakarneh and the Committee of the People of Qabatiya, which played an important and detailed role in containing the consequences of the unfortunate events, and to everyone who contributed to this matter.
The report will be submitted to President Mahmoud Abbas in his capacity as the supreme commander of the Palestinian security forces, to the military judiciary, and to the leaders of the security services, to take the necessary decisions based on his recommendations, without prejudice to the material and moral rights of the martyr's family.
