Shtayyeh: We want all roads to lead to Jerusalem


While inspecting the work progress of rehabilitating Ramallah-Jerusalem Street

Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh inspected on Monday evening, the ongoing work to rehabilitate Ramallah-Jerusalem Street (Kafr Aqab-Qalandia), in the presence of the Minister of Public Works Muhammad Ziyara, the President of the Palestinian Economic Council for Development and Reconstruction (PECDAR) Muhammad Abu Awad, and the mayor of Kafr Aqab Imad Awad.

The Prime Minister said: "This Street is an essential component of Palestinian geography and territorial integrity, and we want all roads to lead to Jerusalem, not only in terms of geography, but in terms of politics."

Shtayyeh added: "We are very keen to ensure that these roads are at their best, and this street is a major compound of the city of Jerusalem."

The Prime Minister saluted the municipality of Kafr Aqab and the people of the region and the ministries of works and local government and Bakdar and the companies operating for their efforts, stressing that, under the direction of President Mahmoud Abbas, the government is always looking to serve people and facilitate their lives.
