Shtayyeh: We highly value the position of the Jordanian King rejecting the deal of the century
The Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, received today, Thursday in his office in Ramallah, the Jordanian Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Al-Shehadeh, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to Palestine Muhammad Abu Wandi, and the Minister of Agriculture Riyad Al-Atari.
Shtayyeh briefed the Jordanian minister and his accompanying delegation on the latest political developments, the conspiracies and liquidation projects our case is exposed to, the unified Palestinian position towards the so-called "deal of the century" announced by US President Trump, and the steps that President Mahmoud Abbas is doing internationally to confront these Deal.
The Prime Minister affirmed the depth of brotherly and historical relations between Palestine and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, appreciating Jordan's stance, which His Majesty King Abdullah II rejected the deal of the century despite all the pressures, stressing that President Mahmoud Abbas is keen to ensure full coordination with His Majesty the King.
The Jordanian Minister put the Prime Minister in the form of existing cooperation between Jordan and Palestine in the agricultural field and work to increase trade exchange between them, in addition to the ongoing preparations for the establishment of the Jordanian-Palestinian Marketing Company.
Al-Shehadeh stressed the Jordan's steadfast stance towards the Palestinian cause, which will only be in its favor stressing that the priority will be for Palestine to import goods that are not available in Jordan.
