Prime Minister received The Kuwaiti Ambassador and congratulated him on submitting his credentials

Shtayeh: Kuwait has been a constant supporter of the cause of our people since the start of its revolution

The Prime Minister received Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, today Sunday in his office in Ramallah, the non-resident ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Palestine Aziz Al-Daihani, congratulating him on submitting his credentials, welcome him, and stressing the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister praised Kuwait's permanent and supportive stance on the Palestinian issue in all international forums and platforms, and said: "Kuwait has embraced the Palestinian people's revolution since its inception and has made no effort to support our cause over the years."

Shtayyeh discussed with Al-Daihani ways to enhance commercial and economic cooperation, and work to form a joint ministerial committee between the two countries, in addition to strengthening cooperation between Palestinian and Kuwaiti charities.

Shtayyeh briefed the Kuwaiti ambassador on the government's strategy to achieve disengagement from the economic dependence of the occupation, by promoting the national product and directing direct commercial exchange with the world, especially with our Arab depth.

For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister and the Kuwaiti government to the Prime Minister, confirming Kuwait's consistent position of leadership, government and people in support of the Palestinian cause, saying: "With the guidance of the Kuwaiti leadership, we wanted to present our credentials on the land of Palestine, to be a message to the world that Palestine will remain Arab land."

The Kuwaiti ambassador presented his credentials to President Mahmoud Abbas, the ambassador of the State of Kuwait, who is not resident in Palestine, today, Sunday, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
