Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, headed today, Saturday in his office in Ramallah, a meeting of the leaders of the security establishment, where the meeting discussed the tightening of safety measures due to the escalation of the trend in cases of "Corona" virus and its spread in all governorates, especially the Hebron and Bethlehem governorates.
The meeting concluded with the decision to reactivate the emergency committees in all governorates, cities, villages, and camps, and prevent gatherings and crowds, including weddings, parties, and funeral homes, in addition to closing the affected areas, and he wished our people in the 48 lands to refrain from visiting Palestinian towns in the West Bank for a week.
Instructions were issued to all concerned authorities to impose sanctions and violations against violators and non-compliant emergency instructions and protocols of the Ministry of Health on prevention and limiting the spread of "Corona", and to circulate to all citizens, public officials and members of the security establishment on the need to adhere to safety and prevention conditions.
The meeting recommended that the affected villages, camps and cities be completely closed, and called for the cooperation of the municipalities, village councils and people's committees to implement all measures
