Cabinet Secretary Dr. Amjed Ghanem meets a group of Palestinian businessmen
The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Amjed Ghanem met at the headquarters of the Council of Ministers in Ramallah and in the presence of the Minister of National Economy Khaled Al-Osaily a group of Palestinian businessmen to discuss and circulate Saudi investment opportunities in Palestine, within the framework of the government's pursuit and vision in creating job opportunities for youth and attracting international investments in Palestine, especially Arabic,
The importance of this meeting is to initiate a series of executive measures for what was agreed upon between President Mahmoud Abbas and His Majesty King Salman regarding the formation of a joint ministerial council and a joint business council between Palestine and Saudi Arabia, Pointing out that the Palestinian delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh and with the membership of the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health.
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an economic and commercial weight in the region that is not hidden from anyone and they have a serious desire to make investments in Palestine and we must invest them well in order to develop our economy and open horizons for young people to provide real and sustainable job opportunities," Ghanem said.
The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers called on the gathered businessmen to submit a package of proposals on projects or areas that can be invested in, stressing that the government will strive with all its energy to overcome the obstacles that may hinder any investment opportunity in Palestine.
For his part, Minister of Economy Khaled Al-Osaili confirmed what the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers referred to and said: “Our partner in this investment has a very high intensity, because it was provided by an official party, which is the Saudi government that had valuable positions and effects on the Palestinian economy, and demanded that efforts be concentrated And synergy
