The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Amjed Ghanem, said in a press statement to the official radio this morning that the cabinet and all government departments work day and night to provide the best services to citizens in various fields

Ghanem said the eighteenth government took 400 decisions since assuming the premiership about nine months ago, it implemented 70% of them within two months after a thorough study of the decisions from all aspects and with all the parties concerned, according to explanatory notes presented to the Cabinet.

Ghanem added that the decisions taken are published on the website of the Council of Ministers because of the government's belief in the right of citizens to obtain information, indicating that the success of the decisions lies in following them up, speeding up their implementation and measuring the performance and vitality of the Council later, and Ghanem continued that there are decisions to sign the Prime Minister’s state, and other assignments Issued by the Secretary-General of the Council amounted to 600 assignments.

Regarding the decision-making mechanism, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers said that when the idea of ​​launching the agricultural cluster in Qalqilya came out, it was presented in all its details, taking into account the feedback from the decision from the ministers, civil society institutions and merchants until it was finalized and approved.

Ghanem mentioned a number of decisions that the government has begun to implement after its approval, and the most important of them is to support the initiatives of young people who want to work and live in the Jordan Valley based on a study of the youth category, the area of ​​the Jordan Valley, the number of residents, and the projects that can be established there, in addition to the decisions of economic empowerment, disengagement from the occupation, and canceling Medical transfers and the ability of merchants to import directly from abroad, and the establishment of the State Development Bank during the current year as it guarantees to young people access to loans to start their entrepreneurial projects, in addition to solving the electricity crisis in the Jerusalem governorate, the decision of conflicts of interest in governance, and money management.

Ghanem indicated that "the obstacles that prevent the implementation of any decision are funding obstacles, in addition to the time that the committees need to study the decisions." Stressing that the occupation authorities are still deducting our money with the support of the American administration because of the government's commitment to pay the salaries of prisoners and martyrs.

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers stressed the government's commitment to declare 2020 the year of youth by allocating part of the budget to support this category, and it also requested donor countries to finance the implementation of youth projects in the fields of technology and innovation in an amount of no less than 100 million dollars according to the criteria and mechanisms followed.
