Signing a German multi-sector support agreement worth 56 million euros
Under the patronage and presence of the Prime Minister
Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki, a representative of the Palestinian government, signed with the representative of the German Republic Christian Klags of the German government, a multi-sector support agreement worth 56 million euros, today, Tuesday, at the Prime Minister's Office in Ramallah.
The Prime Minister said: "I extend my sincere thanks to the Republic of Germany for its continuous support to us in Palestine, and this agreement today, worth 56 million euros, will go mostly to the Gaza Strip, with 27 million euros for water in the Strip, as we had signed this morning another agreement with the Republic of France, worth 24." One million euros for the Gaza Strip as well. "
Shtayyeh added: Water is an important and urgent thing for the Gaza Strip, electricity as well as creating job opportunities, and this matter also comes within the framework of our interest in the issue of vocational training. This assistance comes at the core of our priorities in issues related to vocational training and issues related to small and medium enterprises, in addition to supporting the Institution for Standards and Metrology.“
