Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh instructed the security authorities to tighten procedures and toughen penalties against violators of the preventive measures, individuals and institutions, which were announced in the protocols of the Ministry of Health, represented in wearing masks, providing sterilizers, avoiding distances, and not overcrowding in various economic facilities and public places. With emphasis on preventing the holding of weddings and mourning homes, given their high number of infections, and the significant and dangerous increase in the number of deaths due to the virus, stressing the need to close any area that reaches the dangerous stage.

This came after the Prime Minister chaired a meeting this morning, Wednesday, of the National Emergency Committee and the leaders of the security services, to discuss the measures to be taken to reduce the area of ​​the virus’s spread, in light of the steady rise in infection rates, by continuing to harmonize the strict measures and allow the economic sectors to continue their activities.
