During His Meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Guo Wei
Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Amjed Ghanem, Emphasizes the Depth of Relations between the State of Palestine and People's Republic of China
The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Amjed Ghanem, received at his office this afternoon the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, where he emphasized the depth of the relations between the two countries.
Dr. Ghanem appreciated the support of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine through the adoption of several projects among of which discussing the Renewable Energy Project in Bani Na'im recently. He said that the Palestinian government seeks to implement several development projects that would enable the Palestinian economy to the extent of self-sufficiency and disengagement from the occupation, where Dr. Ghanem called for more pressure by the People's Republic of China on Israel to overcome the obstacles that are hindering the implementation of the said projects. Dr. Ghanem also added that we have put forward a project to develop the skills of government employees in several areas, the most important of which: quality standards, statistical analysis, risk management, and strategic planning, in an effort to raise the efficiency of employees, from one hand, and improving the quality of services provided to the citizens on the other.
The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Guo Wei, highlighted the strength of the mutual relations between the two countries and stated that he has recently made several visits, most recently to the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority and the Ministry of National Economy to get acquainted with the most important projects that can be implemented through the China International Development Cooperation Agency such as: the solar energy project, the industrial city of Tarqumiya, infrastructure and digging wells, and training and capacity building of the youth and women…etc.
