Shtayyeh offers condolences to the Emir of Kuwait
The Prime Minister, Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, offers condolences to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on behalf of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, in the Kuwaiti capital, Kuwait, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad Al-Maliki, and Palestine's ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub.
Shtayyeh praised Kuwait’s position that defends the Palestinian cause and stands against attempts to liquidate it, whether in terms of the American deal of the century or the Israeli annexation plan, and its rejection of the pressures it was subjected to regarding the issue of normalization and others.
For his part, His Highness Prince Nawaf Al-Sabah asked the Prime Minister to convey his greetings and the Kuwaiti people’s greetings to President Mahmoud Abbas, stressing Kuwait’s firm and supportive position for the Palestinian cause in all international forums, and affirming that Kuwait will continue to follow in the footsteps of His late Amir towards Palestine and its people.
