Shtayyeh discusses with the private sector strengthening the partnership to manage the "Corona" crisis and address its economic consequences

Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, called representatives of the private sector and all sectors to adhere to the government's decisions regarding the state of emergency to limit the spread of the Corona virus, set prices and not raise them, in addition to dealing with high flexibility with the permanence of working mothers and the wages of workers who cannot reach their work.

This came during his meeting today in his office in Ramallah, representatives of the private sector, and heads of Chambers of Commerce, in the presence of the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh. Laila Ghannam and Minister of National Economy Khaled Al-Osaily

The Prime Minister discussed with the attendees ways to strengthen the partnership between the government and private sectors in managing the crisis, and studying how to address the economic consequences resulting from it, especially in light of the low pace of the economy at the local and global levels.

 Shtayyeh placed the representatives of the private sector in the status of government procedures in dealing with the situation of Corona virus, and limit its spread among citizens, and the number of infected cases, which are under quarantine in health and home centers.

Shtayeh warned against compromising civil peace by promoting rumors and creating a state of panic among citizens, again calling on all institutions to postpone conferences and meetings in which the number of attendees exceeds 50 people.

The Prime Minister indicated that the period set for the 30-day emergency came according to the law, and if necessary, the period may be less or extended professionally based on what is issued by the Ministry of Health.

In turn, the representatives of the private sector confirmed their full commitment to the government's decisions regarding the state of emergency, and to provide all forms of support and assistance in managing the crisis to get out of it with minimal damage.
