Shtayyeh: We will give the society full support for it’s humanitarian and noble work

The Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, made an inspection tour of the Association of Sisters of Charity, Mar Mansour (Quraish), in the city of Bethlehem.

Shtayyeh toured  in the society’s departments, acquainted with the work it is doing, and the most important needs, and met the children inmates with the association, in the presence of the Governor of Bethlehem Governorate, Kamel Hamid, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Rola Ma’aya, and the Ministers of National Economy Khaled Al-Osaili, the local government Magdi Al-Saleh, and the head of the  Land authority Musa Shakarnah

The Prime Minister said: "This institution is ancient, 150 years old, and what we saw from it, of caring for children who lived in exceptional unusual circumstances, is a scene at the top of humanity, and emphasizes societal cohesion."

Shtayyeh added: "We in the government will provide the association with full support for the noble work it does, and we confirm that what it is doing complements our role."

The Prime Minister continued: "The role of civil society institutions is complementary to our role and is completely in harmony with it, especially in terms of its social development, family protection and treatment of some family issues and imbalances."
